Requiring to carry 2 rail bogeys at 7500 kgs each this King Pin trailer had to be compatible with a Terborg tractor and be able to allow access and secure the rail bogies to the deck, this was done with rails mounted onto the chassis and 8nr specially designed wheel chocs to stop the load from moving
The trailer will allow the rail bogies to mover efficiently from the removal from the carriage across the site to the refurbishment facility and then returned when completed, this will be a constant operation between both facilities
