Alexander Trailers has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1973. The company specialises in designing and manufacturing customised trailers that cater to the specific needs of their clients.
At Alexander Trailers we believe that every trailer design must be unique and tailored to the customer’s requirements. As such, the company consults with its clients to determine the relevant aspects of their trailer, such as loading height, towing vehicle, capacities, load configuration, wheels/tyres, and access. This allows Alexander Trailers to ensure maximum control and manoeuvrability of the trailer.
In 2008, Alexander Trailers acquired Handling Aids, which was a market leader in industrial platform trailer design and manufacturing. Today, the company’s history and knowledge are deeply ingrained in Alexander Trailers’ operations.
In 2015, Alexander Trailers acquired the exclusive distribution rights to FAD Assali/Leonesa in the UK, establishing Axles & Turntables Ltd. This enabled the company to provide its clients with high-quality axles (braked/unbraked), stub axles, turntables, parking jacks, and spare parts for all.
The company carries high levels of stock in all areas and can tailor its distribution to meet specific customer requirements. Furthermore, with direct contact to FAD manufacturers in Italy, the company can request precise orders of any FAD Assali product for UK distribution.
