Swan Neck Trailer
If you always wanted a versatile trailer that could accommodate virtually any kind of load, then the swan neck trailer is for you. Designed mostly for low entry of loads, this is suited for a wide variety of uses.
Features
Most of the swan neck varieties have a turntable mechanism for easy loading. These also come with twin tail ramps on either side of the trailer. Some of them are so heavy duty that they can even transport fork lifts in large industrial locations. The swan neck trailer is also popularly called the goose neck trailer. It gets its name from the shape of the neck. Most of these trailers come with air suspension, tri axle mechanisms, flatbed mechanism among other features. The gooseneck varieties are flexible and can accommodate high loads as well.
Usage
The swan neck trailer can be used to haul some of the heaviest of loads. So whether it is a bulldozer or a farm tractor, this trailer can haul almost every thing! The length of the bed can be even up to 33 feet. The gooseneck can be easily adjusted making for greater flexibility.
Customization
The kind of vehicle being hauled will determine to a large extent the design and structure of the trailer. Right from load specifications, the way the vehicle needs to be carried, to the material being used in the trailer – all these play a crucial part in ensuring effective and efficient hauling.
