Alexander Trailers designs and manufactures custom made trailers to answer every type of load-carrying problem.
We boast a varied list of clients, most of whom have one thing in common – a requirement for a trailer design that simply can’t be ‘bought of the shelf’. (We do, of course, produce ‘standard’ trailers too!)

height / weights to ensure maximum
control and manoeuvrability.
Once we’ve built those into the design we can establish other details such as how the trailer will be floored and the paintwork.
It all adds up to a trailer design that’s completely suited to it’s working environment. This means a more efficient workplace… and more satisfied customers.

Kvaerner
One of the larges trailers we have produced to date. This custom made trailer can handle up to 12m, 34 tonnes at a time. Special hydraulics allow loads to be raised and lowered by up to 200mm.

Nissan Washington plant is a model of working efficiency in practice. Moving engines (power units) between assembly lines is vital to keeping targets. We designed and built trailers to handle up to 10 engines at a time

Alexander Trailers established in 1969 has been trading for over 30 years, specialising in the design and manufacture of trailers for all types of industry.
We have built our reputation on delivering practical cost efficient solutions that are designed and manufactured to client specification.
The company has developed specialist expertise and knowledge working with clients to ensure that all their requirements are met. Since our formation over 30 years ago we have delivered many logistical and load-carrying solutions for all types of businesses including many major blue chip organisations.
